Sonus Health for Pets Support Center

FAQ

  • Sonus Health for Pets is a health and wellness tool that uses ground-breaking new AI to perform an in-depth health and wellness scan of your dog using just your smartphone microphone.

This includes identifying whether or not your dog is in pain, their heart rate and HRV, whether or not they suffer from arrhythmias, murmurs, ectopic beats or anything else.

The app offers free instant HR/HRV and murmur indications results, with a paid full report available to users for a full analysis. The app is backed by the Veterinary Cardio Group, a group of over 200 veterinary cardiology specialists.

  • First, make sure you are in a quiet room with ideally no background noise whatsoever.

Place your phone's microphone (or a supported external device) gently against your dog's chest, where you can feel or hear their heartbeat most clearly. This will generally be under their left armpit.

For best results, take the scan when they are calm and resting. However, if they are nervous or excited, you can indicate this in-app and the AI will take this into account.

You can find full instructions with photographs here. Follow all in-app instructions for best results.
