This app collects and processes personal and wellness-related data to deliver insights into cardiovascular wellbeing for both humans and animals (e.g., dogs, horses, and other species supported by the App). By using this app — whether for yourself or for an animal — you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of the relevant data as described below.

Data We Collect

This data is directly provided by you via the app questionnaire. If you do not wish to provide this data, simply do not complete the questionnaire. The data we collect via the questionnaire is personal information (name, email address), demographic information (age, height, weight, gender) and health and wellness data, such as audio recordings of your heartbeat captured using your device’s microphone and derived metrics (heart rate, heart rate variability, potential indication of murmurs and any other analysis we may from time to time introduce based on the audio recordings of your heart).

When used for animals, we may also collect animal profile details (such as species, breed, age, weight, sex, identifiers, and relevant medical history), along with audio recordings of the animal’s heart captured using your device’s microphone and derived metrics (e.g., heart rate, heart rate variability, potential indication of murmurs, and any other analysis we may from time to time introduce based on the recordings).

How Your Data Is Used

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To analyze and interpret heart sound data (human or animal) and provide personalized wellness insights
• To improve our proprietary algorithms through internal testing and research
• To conduct privacy-conscious research and development within Decorte Future Industries

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data access is limited to authorized personnel only. In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our company, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. Such transfers will continue to comply with this Privacy Notice. You will be notified of any material changes to data usage practices and given the opportunity to consent or opt out where required by law.

Legal Basis for Processing

• EU Residents: Processing is based on your explicit consent in accordance with Articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a) of the GDPR
• U.S. Residents: Processing is based on consent and in compliance with applicable state-level privacy laws, including CCPA and HIPAA
• Indian Residents: Processing is based on consent as defined under the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Processing of animal data is based on the owner’s or handler’s explicit consent, given on behalf of the animal.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data or the data you have submitted about an animal
• Withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing
• Request a copy of your collected data
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (EU, U.S., or India)
